Tales from the Cannibal Side (1998)



This collection of three grisly and terrifying short films is definitely not for the squeamish. For those who enjoy hillbilly cannibals, over-the-top gore, and women who fantasize about being cannibalized, this is a fine choice. The first film, "Weekend in the City," is about a young woman named Karen, a attractive girl who has been alternately horrified and turned on by her dreams of being eaten alive. Through the personal ads in the city paper, she ends up getting a little too close to her fantasy. In "Trick or Treat," a luscious young woman named Stacy turns a trick and ends up as a treat. In the final story, "Meat's Meat," a backwoods family runs rampant in their town's local meat market, serving their own special delicacies to the customers.
